Upcoming Course -
Coming up this April, USEE will be hosting a session of Menu for the Future. We'll kick off this discussion with a Green Bag at Whole Foods, Local Farms: Food Near You. This event will be on April 13th at 5:00 p.m., where local farmers from Morgan Valley Lamb, Bell Organic, Canyon Meadows Ranch, and Heritage Valley Organics will be on a panel to answer your questions.(The Green Bag is not mandatory for those interested in participating in the discussion course.) We will then officially begin the discussion course the following week. Menu for the Future is a six-session course exploring the connection between food and sustainability. The readings consider food from multiple perspectives- cutural, economic, ecological, health and social- each presenting a different, though often complimentary, angle on the complex modern food systems most of us depend on.
