The Annual Utah Environmental Education Conference

The Utah Society for Environmental Education (USEE) has been hosting the Annual Utah Environmental Education Conference since 1989.

The conference is 2-3 days chock-full of breakout sessions, workshops, round table discussions, and outdoor field trips!

The conference includes a statewide focus that caters to a variety of participants including: novice and experienced environmental educators, PreK-12 in-service and pre-service educators, non-formal/community based educators, outdoor enthusiasts and leaders, agency representatives, staff and volunteers from non-profit organizations, higher education personnel, students, and interested members of the community. Session options:

  • 1 Hour Indoor Session
  • 2 Hour Indoor Session
  • 1 Hour Indoor/Outdoor Session (indoor space and outdoor use on or near premises)
  • 2 Hour Indoor/Outdoor Session (indoor space and outdoor use on or near premises)
  • 1 Hour Round Table Interact Session
  • 3-4 Hour Outdoor Field Trip Experience (Off Premises)

The 2018 Utah Environmental Education Conference

The conference will take place at the beautiful Wasatch Retreat Center located in the heart of historic downtown Salt Lake City.

Environmental stewardship and the commitment to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, continues to serve a primary role at the Episcopal Church Center of Utah and Wasatch Retreat and Conference Center. Eco-friendly design and construction makes the Wasatch Retreat and Conference Center an environmentally-sustainable host for conferences, meetings and individual guests.

2018 Timeline:
