The Annual Utah Environmental Education Conference

The Utah Society for Environmental Education (USEE) has been hosting the Annual Utah Environmental Education Conference since 1989.

The conference is 2-3 days chock-full of breakout sessions, workshops, round table discussions, and outdoor field trips!

The conference includes a statewide focus that caters to a variety of participants including: novice and experienced environmental educators, PreK-12 in-service and pre-service educators, non-formal/community based educators, outdoor enthusiasts and leaders, agency representatives, staff and volunteers from non-profit organizations, higher education personnel, students, and interested members of the community. The conference took place September 14-15, 018, at the beautiful Wasatch Retreat & Conference Center (Episcopal Church Center of Utah (ECCU)) located in the heart of historic downtown Salt Lake City. Thank you to the staff of the ECCU for the wonderful support and food provided that helped to make our conference a great success!

Environmental stewardship and the commitment to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, continues to serve a primary role at the Episcopal Church Center of Utah and Wasatch Retreat and Conference Center. Eco-friendly design and construction makes the Wasatch Retreat and Conference Center an environmentally-sustainable host for conferences, meetings and individual guests.

The Utah Society for Environmental Education (USEE), a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, has been a statewide leader in promoting high quality environmental education in Utah since 1981. USEE encourages environmental literacy by teaching Utahans how to think, not what to think, about the environment.
